This survey is for patients, consumers, carers, family members, friends or nominated persons aged 18 and older who were invited to a hearing from 1 May 2022.

The survey is entirely voluntary and anonymous. You can skip any questions you don’t want to answer.

If you have already completed this survey in 2022, please do not complete it again unless you have had another hearing.

Privacy information

The Mental Health Tribunal is conducting the survey. Responses to the survey will be used to review how the Tribunal conducts and manages hearings. An independent researcher working for the Tribunal will analyse the survey data.

The Tribunal will share the findings of the survey on our website and with stakeholders.

Your individual responses will not be identifiable. The Tribunal will securely store and dispose of hard copy and electronic individual survey responses as required by law.
